Due to Covid 19 our AGM is late this year and are looking forward to seeing you all at to our Guild Meeting. Please check your newsletter.

  • Remember  to bring back all previously borrowed library books. You will be be able to borrow more library books and look over our guest merchant's supplies.

Due to Covid 19 the building on the 12th February will open for three sessions as per your newsletter;
  •    - You will have to register your time slot
  •    - you will be required to sign into our  ATTENDANCE BOOK,
  •    - show your COVID PASSPORT and
  •    - wear a MASK before entering the building. 
  •    - Sorry no Covid Jabs passport - no entry.
When the Hall then opens members will be instructed where all previously borrowed library books be stacked. You may be able to borrow library books, look over our guest merchant's supplies. There will not be a Guild busness  meeting nor afternoon tea.

July’s speaker was Rosalind Martin, one of the four administrators for the online Facebook group KiwiQuilters. She showed a couple of her quilts where she started the centre block and then it was circulated amongst her assigned group for adding new blocks. See below:

Have you ever wanted to create a patchwork quilt?

Learn to Quilt with Jenny:
​24th July and 23rd October 

​Learn correct and new quilting techniques / methods when making a small patchwork project.

Gordonton Hall 9.00am to 12.30pm.  Cost $60. If you know someone who is new to quilting or would like help and would benefit from this class, please let them know. They don’t have to be a member of Guild because the cost will include Guild membership. Please pay $60 into the Guild bank account. Reference Jenny.  

Email rowe.lynne@gmail.com if you know of people who would be interested. 

​If you are a Guild member and you want to participate, the cost will be $15.

The class will focus on a table runner to learn cutting skills, 1/4" seams, fabric, thread and needle choices.
