Calling all quilts, May 2012

Hamilton Gardens Pavilion, Cobham Drive, Hamilton
Over 100 beautiful Quilts displayed, 15 merchants and 4 special exhibitions - Judges exhibition, Textile Mixed Media Artists, 12 x 12 group, Students backpacks
Exhibition Judges - Gwen Wanigsekera, Norma Slabbert and Lois Wine
The picture is of the first prize raffle, King size quilt.
It is a Dear Jane block quilt. Each 6” block was made by a guild member. After being stitched together, the quilt was hand quilted by members at guild meetings.
