Here's our stand for the women's expo. The focus on this small display is to concentrate on younger ladies or ladies new to quilting. Showing quilts that look easy to achieve and to catch their attention with bright simple displays. We have been lucky enough to have been given 3 other spaces to hang quilts for display. I have been peicing a jelly roll into one of Donna Wards patterns to show people just how simple it can be. We have also had other ladies on the stand making Yo Yo's, sewing binding down and other hand work. All of these things have been a source of interest for some ladies and a good conversation starter.
I'd also like to thank Donna Ward for supplying 3 quilts for display and some items for our raffle. Its great to receive support from our fabric shops!
